Ingredients

1 jar (12 oz) Subi Family Table Co. Pilau Sauce

6 cups Basmati rice, well rinsed

9 cups water

2–4 tablespoons cooking oil

Salt to taste

2–3 lbs beef, lamb, or goat meat, cooked and browned
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Heat 2–4 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Step 2
Add cooked and browned beef, lamb, or goat meat and sauté briefly.
Step 3
Stir in one full jar of Subi Family Table Co. Pilau Sauce and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 4
Add 9 cups of water and bring to a boil. Add salt to taste.
Step 5
Add 6 cups of well-rinsed Basmati rice and stir gently.
Step 6
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed.
Step 7
Remove from heat and let rest, covered, for 5 minutes.
Step 8
Fluff gently with a fork and serve.
Serving Suggestion
